Curriculum and Examination

A- English is the medium of instruction and examination in this institution, The school is likely t be affiliated soon to C.B.S.E., New Delhi.

B- The school year extends from April to March and is divided in two terms.

C- The first term examination is held in September and the second term in March. Four formative assessments, periodic unit tests as well as verbal tests are also conducted. Promotion to the next class is decided on the basis of four formative assessments, two summative assessments and student’s performance throughout the year.

D- The results of the first Term Examination, four formative assessments are sent to parents for Scrutiny, Signature and taken back from parents after scrutiny and signature, while the final report card is retained by the parents.

E- Children are judged on a system of formative and summative assessments and the teachers evaluation of the regular work. Promotion is automatic and the child will only be detained in the same class with the consultation of his/her parents if it is felt that he/she will definitely be benefited by repeating the class. The emphasis here is not given so much on the facts to be scored the marks by the students but on the child’s experiences and activities as he/she is exposed himself/herself to be wonderful world that God has prepared for him/her.

F- The school will not make any special arrangement for those students, who remain absent from any of these examinations.

Criteria for Promotion

Promotion will be made by judging formative and summative assessments in the following subjects:
a- Hindi
b- English
c- Mathematics
d- G.K.
e- Environmental Science
f- Science
g- Social Studies
h- Sanskrit (class 5 onwards)
i- Sports
j- Drawing
